Music: killing boys by Halsey

Halsey’s Manic closes with a raw and unflinching track called "Killing Boys," a standout from the album’s final stretch. Released in 2020 as the twelfth and last song on the project, this song cuts deep into themes of self-destruction and emotional survival, mirroring the album’s overall intensity. With its gritty production and unapologetic lyrics, "Killing Boys" stands as a powerful reflection of resilience amid chaos.

The song’s genre-blurring sound—rooted in alternative rock and electronic influences—gives it a dynamic edge, balancing raw vocals with pulsating beats. Halsey’s signature blend of vulnerability and defiance shines through, making "Killing Boys" a standout moment on Manic. Fans of her work will recognize her ability to turn personal struggles into anthemic, unforgettable music.

While "Killing Boys" may not have the same mainstream spotlight as some of Halsey’s earlier hits, it remains a compelling listen for those drawn to her boldest, most unfiltered moments. The track’s raw energy and emotional weight make it a memorable closer to Manic, solidifying its place as a fan favorite.
