Music: HOW BOUT THAT? by Quavo

Quavo’s latest project, the self-titled QUAVO HUNCHO, arrived in 2018 as a bold step into full artistic control, and the eighth track, “How Bout That?”, stands out as a standout moment on the album. Born from the same unfiltered creativity that defined his early work with Migos, this track showcases Quavo’s knack for blending hypnotic melodies with razor-sharp lyricism. The song’s infectious groove and layered production make it a highlight for fans eager to dive into the album’s more introspective yet high-energy moments.

Musically, “How Bout That?” leans into a smooth, bass-driven rhythm that keeps the energy flowing without sacrificing depth. Quavo’s signature flow shines here, with verses that balance confidence and vulnerability, all wrapped in a production that feels both polished and organic. The track’s genre-blending approach—part hip-hop, part soulful R&B—reflects the album’s willingness to experiment while staying true to its core sound.

For listeners exploring QUAVO HUNCHO for the first time, “How Bout That?” offers a taste of the project’s range, proving that even on an artist’s debut solo effort, Quavo’s talent for crafting unforgettable hooks remains as sharp as ever.
