Music: Boys Will Be Boys by Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa’s "Boys Will Be Boys" serves as a bold closer to her 2020 album Future Nostalgia, blending disco energy with modern pop flair. Positioned as the eleventh track on the record, the song showcases Lipa’s signature blend of retro-inspired production and contemporary catchiness. With its punchy bassline and infectious chorus, it delivers a confident, self-assured vibe that ties together the album’s eclectic sound.

The track’s title nods to a playful yet unapologetic attitude, reflecting the album’s overall theme of reinvention and empowerment. While rooted in the disco and funk traditions of the 1970s, "Boys Will Be Boys" feels fresh and relevant, making it a standout moment in Lipa’s discography. Its upbeat tempo and sharp production ensure it stands out as a fan favorite, even if it’s not the album’s most streamed cut.

Fans of Future Nostalgia will recognize the track’s place as a satisfying finale, rounding out the album’s mix of synth-pop and danceable grooves. Though not a single release, its presence on the record highlights Lipa’s ability to craft a song that’s both nostalgic and entirely its own. The track’s energy makes it a perfect addition to any playlist looking for a high-octane closer.
