Music: GATTI by JACKBOYS

JACKBOYS’ album JACKBOYS delivered a raw, unfiltered snapshot of Brooklyn’s underground scene, and the track "GATTI" stands as one of its most electrifying cuts. Featuring the late Pop Smoke and Travis Scott, the song blends gritty trap beats with explosive verses that define the project’s no-holds-barred energy. Released in 2019 as track number seven on the album, "GATTI" captures the essence of a moment—where street credibility meets high-octane production, all while keeping the focus on authenticity.

The collaboration on "GATTI" highlights JACKBOYS’ knack for curating standout moments, even on an album that already packed heavyweight talent. Pop Smoke’s signature flow and Travis Scott’s signature ad-libs add layers of depth, turning the track into a standout piece of the era’s most talked-about rap projects. While the album itself was a cult favorite among fans of unpolished, hyper-local hip-hop, "GATTI" remains a fan favorite for its unfiltered attitude and infectious rhythm.

For fans of early 2010s trap, "GATTI" is a must-listen—proof that JACKBOYS could craft a track that felt both timeless and distinctly of its time. The song’s raw energy and collaborative chemistry make it a standout cut from an album that still resonates with listeners who appreciate unfiltered, street-level storytelling.
