Music: Get Outta My Head by Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne’s Funeral album closes with a haunting collaboration that blends introspection and raw emotion. Track 18, "Get Outta My Head," features XXXTENTACION, delivering a chilling vocal performance that contrasts Wayne’s signature flow. Released in 2020, this late-career project showcases Wayne’s ability to craft deeply personal tracks, even as he reflects on legacy and mortality.

The song’s atmosphere is thick with tension, driven by XXXTENTACION’s eerie, off-kilter delivery and Wayne’s measured lyrics. Their chemistry creates a space where vulnerability meets defiance, making it one of the album’s most striking moments. While Funeral explores themes of loss and remembrance, this track stands out as a stark, introspective interlude.

Fans of Wayne’s later work will appreciate the raw honesty in "Get Outta My Head," a standout piece that lingers long after the last note fades. The collaboration with XXXTENTACION adds a layer of unpredictability, proving even in his final recordings, Wayne could deliver something unforgettable.
