Ghanaian rapper Medikal teams up with dancehall heavyweight Shatta Wale for a new collaboration titled “Sika.” Released on October 2, 2026, the song brings together two established voices from Ghana’s contemporary music scene for a record centered on money, ambition, success, and the everyday drive to achieve more.
Rather than treating money simply as a luxury, the song’s title and available descriptions frame it around ambition and the desire to progress. This gives “Sika” a broader connection to listeners who understand the pressures and motivations that come with pursuing success.
On “Sika,” his role fits the song’s central theme of ambition and financial progress. His rap-focused approach provides the record with a direct lyrical dimension before Shatta Wale adds his own distinctive style.
