Music: Candy Necklace by Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey’s latest album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, delivers another standout track with the soulful collaboration "Candy Necklace" featuring Jon Batiste. This sixth track on the project blends Lana’s signature cinematic storytelling with Batiste’s warm, jazzy piano work, creating a richly textured sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh. The chemistry between the two artists shines through in their layered vocals and instrumental interplay, making this a highlight for fans of moody, atmospheric music.

The album’s genre bends effortlessly between indie pop, jazz-infused balladry, and dreamy alternative, and "Candy Necklace" sits comfortably within that spectrum. Batiste’s presence adds a layer of warmth and sophistication, grounding Lana’s poetic lyrics in a more intimate, live-in-the-room feel. The track’s smooth production and subtle instrumentation make it a perfect listen for those who enjoy music that feels like a quiet evening shared with a close friend.

With its evocative title and the collaboration between two of music’s most distinctive voices, "Candy Necklace" is a track worth exploring for anyone drawn to the blend of melancholy and elegance that defines Lana Del Rey’s latest work. The album itself continues to build on her signature themes of love, longing, and the passage of time, offering a cohesive listening experience that rewards repeated spins.
